The New 007 Limited Edition Sunglasses are Simply Incredible

Watch the latest video from our YouTube channel to discover the new collection of Barton Perreira 007 sunglasses created specially for the upcoming James Bond movie ‘No Time To Die’.

Each pair of sunglasses is hand-crafted in Japan with amazing attention to detail, and each one comes with a 007 branded case, guarantee certificate, cleaning cloth, presentation box as well as discreet 007 branding on the temples.

If you are reading the blog and haven’t heard of Barton Perreira, you aren’t alone. The company is deliberately exclusive to the point of being elusive. They are popular with the less flashy hollywood stars, such as Anne Hathaway, Steve Carrell, and Ryan Gosling – to name just a few.

Bill Barton and Patty Perreira, founders of Barton Perreira, were responsible for designing and bringing to life the new 007 collection.

Barton Perrerira was formed by the creatives who had managed Oliver Peoples before the brand was bought out and became just another Luxottica name (see also: Ray-Ban, Oakley, Chanel etc). Their trademarks are: beautiful takes on classic styles executed with the highest attention to detail and immaculate finishing, using only the finest materials. It’s no wonder the costume designer working on ‘No Time To Die’ was attracted to their collection.

The ‘Joe’

‘Joe’ is clearly the headliner of the collection, given that it is worn by James Bond himself (played by Daniel Craig, of course). It is sophisticated, classic, and probably the ultimate frame for matching with a suit.

The high gloss finish combines well with the genuine glass lenses (which provide superior clarity). At first glimpse, this may seem lke a simple square shape but the actual silhouette on the face is far more sophisticated. Rounded edges and accentuated top corners set these apart from other frames.

The ‘Courtier’

My personal favourite from the collection, the Courtier sunglasses combine matt finish Zylonite with a double titanium bridge and temples. They are at once minimalist and outspoken.

To be worn by the Villain in ‘No Time To Die’, this frame represents an edgier style compared to the purity of the Joe, and the gradient lenses add an air of illusion. If you’re not a follower of others, and like to stand apart, this is the one for you.

The ‘Norton’

The most versatile piece from the collection, the Norton is a vintage style which can be dressed up or down with ease. We adore the classic tortoiseshell Zylonite, which has just the perfect blend of yellow and brown to suit most skin tones.

The Norton also features the best optics; these ultra-high quality bottle green lenses not only provide good sun protection, but are also extremely restful on the eyes. The high gloss finish and extra fine bridge and temples combine with the colour to great effect.

We hope you have enjoyed this overview of the Barton Perreira x 007 sunglasses collection. Remember that all three are available with prescription lenses, and can even be made and worn with clear lenses as optical frames.
