We’re constantly on the lookout for up-coming, trendy new brands and they don’t get more up-coming and trendy than Kate Spade.
I recently met Nico Piercy, the brand manager for our area to choose the new pieces for the store:

Kate Spade, the founder and the brand namesake is a former accessories editor who set out in 1993 to design the perfect ladies handbag and by 1996 had opened her first shop in NY. By 2007 Kate Spade had taken over the accessories powerhouse that was Liz Claiborne renamed Kate Spade and Company and soon after launched her Clothing and jewellery collections, also bedding, leg wear and fragrance lines. After Conquering the US and Asia, Kate Spade is now poised to take the UK by storm.

The most popular optical styles are currently the Laddona and Cortina, mainly because both styles are very wearable but have a great selection of colours from playful green and blue mottled to the more traditional Havana.
The newest releases (Kariann and Kassia) are following quickly behind these two and are fast becoming best sellers and are definitely going to be the must have styles in the very near future.
I would say that the lady who is going to wear Kate Spade Ny, is looking for a frame that’s as bold as she is. There really is something for every lady in the collection. With a great mix of very simple easy to wear everyday frames to the bold Statement pieces such as the Mirele.
I absolutely love the Kate Spade sunglasses and it’s hard to pick out just one favourite. Currently my two favourite sunglasses are the LUANN/S and the GENICE/S both offer an instant hit of glamor and can really change the look of any outfit.
In January this year Kate Spade launched the eyewear line in the UK and opened the first Flagship store in the country, in Regent St, London. Since then Kate Spade as a brand has rocketed, fast becoming one of the best-selling ranges and it’s only just getting started…
