For this week's eyewear of the week, we have decided to feature these custom pair of Lucas de Stael glasses that we have prepared for our client.

These unique pair of glasses feature cow leather as the frame. The cow leather comes from French cows and is tanned in Italy with vegetable products. Cow leather frames will gain patina and darken over time depending on the pH and acidity of the skin and with exposure to UV rays.

Because they are also tanned with vegetable products, the frames are free of chrome and therefore do not pose any risk of allergies. Lastly, the skins go through a manual process that gives them a smooth texture while maintaining the consistency of the material.

To complete these already unique frames, we applied a combination of custom tint and custom flash coating to the lenses as requested by our client.
