THE FRAME

The Masunaga TAKA showcases a distinctive double front rim design that creates open spaces at both the bridge and upper rims, elegantly inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of space. This thoughtful design element not only enhances visual appeal but also contributes to a feeling of lightness and balance.

The striking gold frame, paired with a sleek silver inner rim, adds a touch of sophistication and uniqueness to the Masunaga TAKA. Together, these features make it a remarkable statement piece that beautifully merges style with craftsmanship.

The frames were created by Kenzo Takada in a partnership between Masunaga and Kenzo. Since its launch in 2014, the collaboration has created high-quality luxury eyewear by combining vintage-inspired elements with fashion-forward contemporary design.

On this specific model, the colour-way for the frames is Grey Gold.

THE LENSES

As requested by our client, we have used Zeiss SmartLife and Progressive lenses for this exclusive pair of glasses.

Zeiss SmartLife lenses elevate your visual experience by adapting seamlessly to various lighting environments and digital displays, helping to reduce eye strain and sharpen focus. Crafted for the modern, tech-oriented lifestyle, they ensure you enjoy clear, precise vision whether you’re using screens or navigating everyday life.

Zeiss Progressive lenses allow the user to seamlessly transition from near to far vision. With multiple prescriptions in just one pair, they'll help you switch focus instantly without the need to switch out your glasses. They don’t have any visible lines, but you’ll have to get used to different lens zones.

Lastly, to add a little more uniqueness, we have given the lenses a bi-gradient tint with a 15% magma orange which gradiates to a 30% yellow tint. To top it all off, we finished the lenses with a ruby flash coating.
